We routinely explain to our clients that their highest and best result is the primary goal when handling Long Term Disability claims. That result is to get the claimant on regular monthly checks. This is the result that is going to achieve the greatest financial benefit to the claimant. In addition, this is also the result that is going to keep stress levels and consternation to a minimum.
Sometimes we have to battle through an Administrative Appeal before we can achieve this result. We have even been able to achieve this end in the context of a lawsuit although such a result would be a rarity. The usual result of a lawsuit is a settlement in which both sides compromise and the claimant does not get 100 cents on the dollar. Moreover, even getting to the point of a lawsuit can take an extended amount of time, meanwhile, you, the claimant, would be without the disability benefits coming in. So, you can see why establishing and maintaining the right to receive the agreed upon benefits on a regular monthly basis is far better than the result a lawsuit is likely to afford.
We Can Help You With Long Term Disability Benefits
This is why we keep our eyes focused on that primary goal. While our effort to be perfect in this regard will not always work out, we believe in doing so we will achieve excellence in the course of your representation. You will be provided diligent, competent and timely representation which we hope you will ultimately describe as excellent.
